Moving forward – How do I plan on successfully completing this unit? How is this unit going to help me achieve my goals?

This unit has been difficult yet interesting so far. To successfully complete this unit, I have to do a presentation and write an essay. These are the remaining tasks in this unit. So far, hard word and constant effort had helped me to complete assignments in  this unit. But, by doing so I have achieved a greater understanding of how to think critically and reflect. According to Linda (2015 , para. 10) critical thinking makes capable of finding the logic of any situation we are put into by analyzing. It also helps us to learn from new experiences by reflection on ourselves. All this help us improve our analytical skills and makes us think better. This is a very important trait to have for any person. silver (2011) claims that without critical thinking people can be mislead. When we think critically we can come up with a rational solution.

This can be very helpful in making many decisions. So, critical thinking is very important and it will help me achieve my goals. How? well, any goal involves making decisions, research and hard work. What will help me in making good decisions? Critical thinking. This unit has also made me a better researcher and this skill will definitely be beneficial in the future.

Reflecting on the past weeks of studying for this unit, it is evident that there is a lot more room for improvement for me in the field of reflection, analytical skills and researching. By improving these I plan to successfully complete this unit.

One of the most important things I learned is to appreciate others work. This is due to use of referencing. Giving credit to others work by referencing.
